I had an opportunity to take part in the CUT , Aug 2008. I must admit it really impacted my perspectives on life, theatre… And candles.. I remember looking at the candle longingly waiting to be served a grand Candle lit Dinner.Slowly, I realized that it was going to be only food for thought, not really for our belly. Jokes apart, the exercise was like looking at the very source from which we all come and trying to communicate with it. That summed up the seriousness and dimension in which the workshop happened. Though I am quite used to acting on stage during my growing up years, CUT opened my eyes to a plethora of insights about acting, voice and team work. Really some of the magical moments in the recent years in my life! I would strongly recommend that young ones should go through this process at least once. CUT is a sublime experience that should be made part of curriculum in city colleges at the degree level. Anyone hearing? -Martin

Workshops! Sounds quite boring aye!
But its totally a different world, when it comes to Evam’s workshop – what we know it by the name CUT.
CUT - The COOL, The UNIQUE and The TERRIFIC conviction of bringing some wonderful people like you and me together or should we just say – a conviction of bringing people like us together and make it wonderful.
One learns here the rudiments of Theatre, some aspects, few attributes, an actor, a stage, a play, a script and most of all – emotion and passion that goes into it. It is nothing less than an explosion of creativity and enhancement of imagination. And of course, not forgetting the incalculable fun – one has, while at it…
Its an introduction to a splendid world in its own – what we all know it as Theatre… and no one can do it better than a CUT  Workshop by Evam it self.

The Cut was my starting point for finally doing something about my long standing interest of being on stage rather than in the audience. The basic nuances of acting covered in the workshop, such as actions, expressions, voice modulation, etc. has really helped me in my amibition to become the Govinda of theatre. :P
I’m unsure if I'll become the Govinda of theatre, but do know that the acting skills acquired at The Cut helped me bag my first on-stage assignment!
Highly recommended for people wanting to act, direct or just have a weekend of stressbusting MAD fun!! -

Can I , Can I not , I might , Shall I , Should I
Well these were the questions which were always there before the workshop.
If 2 days in life can change the next course of action, then CUT was definitely it.
Not only did it teach me to loose the inhibitions of life, but also introduced to me to a huge bunch of energetic and enthusiastic people
Thanks to CUT , I've met some fantastic people in  my life and drove the point to do things I  enjoy instead of just complaining .-
